ABOUT

WHERE: BRIDGES CENTRE, EDENBRIDGE
WHEN: FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH
WHAT: The Dandelion Café provides a monthly opportunity for older adults to enjoy socialising in a nurturing, creative environment

PROJECT ASPIRATIONS
Applying a person-centred approach to supporting older people in a creative and social environment while enlivening 'consciousness in community’.
Older adults of all abilities are welcome and no previous artistic experience is necessary.

PRACTICALITIES
The Café endeavours to be as inclusive as possible, however please be aware that we are not a respite centre. We support individuals to the best of our ability, but may need to call upon a friend, family member or carer during the session for any personal assistance to ensure respect and dignity is preserved.
Family, friends and carers: you can be as involved as much or as little as you choose during the session, depending on the level of support required.
There is a seating area adjacent to where the activity takes place for you to be close enough to provide support if the need arises, but also to take the opportunity to have a cuppa, relax and perhaps meet other friends/family carers. Or, you may want to join in with activities on offer, the choice is yours.
